Welcome to THE GALLERY…
Aerospace Perceptions founder Frank Moriarty is a member of the Air & Space Forces Association and the International Society for Aviation Photography. His work has been featured several times in the ISAP organization’s photographic journal Airspeed. Frank began his photography activities capturing available light images at dozens of rock concerts in the 1970s, the chaotic conditions providing endless lessons in adapting to rapidly changing environments. Frank developed his own film and learned the art of making prints with an enlarger. He went on to be the co- or sole photographer on his book projects “Sunday Drivers: NASCAR Winston Cup Stock Car Racing,” “Supercars: The Story of the Dodge Charger Daytona and Plymouth SuperBird,” “Iron Fist, Lead Foot: John Coletti and Ford’s ‘Terminator,’” and “Modern Listener Guide: Jimi Hendrix.” Frank spent the summer of 2011 at Kennedy Space Center documenting – on film – the final flight of the orbiter Atlantis and the end of the Space Shuttle program.
